Blazequel Fire Marshal Training Course

Blazequel provides professional fire marshal training for companies and organizations across all sectors. It’s vital to ensure your staff are well-prepared to keep safe in the event of a fire.

By law (under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005), all employees must be trained in using firefighting equipment and evacuation procedures. It’s also necessary to appoint and train Fire Wardens and their deputies in marshaling and evacuation.

In larger operations, we structure fire precaution personnel into tiers. This might involve having Marshals stationed at Assembly Points to guide staff and Extinguisher Operators ready to tackle fires if safe. We also help you plan for the safe evacuation of disabled individuals, a responsibility now outside the Fire Brigade’s remit.

We will also conduct comprehensive reviews of your fire precautions and procedures while providing training at your own facilities for your convenience.

For numerous training providers, these terms are often used interchangeably. Nonetheless, there’s a distinction drawn by some: Fire marshals typically hold broader responsibilities and authority concerning fire safety management across an organization, while Fire wardens tend to concentrate more on implementing fire safety protocols within designated areas or departments.

Given this variation, it’s crucial to assess the course content to ensure its alignment with specific requirements, rather than solely relying on the job titles. Both roles are integral to maintaining fire safety and responding to emergencies effectively.
